I love to write. I want to write about things that get my heart going.I want to write about Haiti and Cuba, about Women, Leadership, about Music, Books, Travel, Dance, Youth and Work, Jesus, Life, Food and News. I want to write for me, just because I love to do it. I don’t care all too much about who does or doesn’t read it. I want to have a place to go back to and remember when my head gets foggy or I get too far away from the core of who I am. My grammar isn’t always on point. I’m blessed with a grammatically perfect best friend to take care of me there. But I can promise that every word is written because something in my soul moved me to put it there.
I chose Girl Moving Now as a tribute to a poem by Eve Ensler called I dance because it taught me to stand on my own two feet and move to the beat of the heart God gave me.
